I think it's too early to close my diary of 2006. But I also not so sure if I will be online after today. My father did tell me that he wants to go balik kampung, and for sure he'll ask me to follow. Well, Hari Raya 'Aidiladha is around the corner.
So probably this is my last post for the year 2006; ONE HELL OF A YEAR.

Why did I say that the year 2006 is one hell of a year??
In this year I become a member of one hell of a club, named IIUM ANGKLUNG CLUB.
In this year I learnt LOTSA, LOTSA information about music; the one that used to be one of my dreams.
In this year I got LOTSA, LOTSA new friends, male and female.
In this year, I SELDOM missed home, instead I always miss IIUM.
In this year I cried in front of my friends; the one that is VERY, VERY rare for me.
In this year I went to Janda Baik, Johore Baharu, and not to forget, KL HILTON!!
In this year I got 'cramped' with other IAC members in Abg. Najib's van, huhu... haru sungguh.
In this year I got my car licence.
In this year I did drive my father's car, even though only thrice.
In this year I become the Head Bureau of PromArch (I never became one before. Not one).
In this year I gain back my confidence; the one that had been lost for years...
In this year I could laugh out loud again (Thank God!!), as I used to be...
Last but not least, in this year I had more than one crush, muahaha.... (shhh... this is a secret ^_^)

It's one hectic, exciting, terrific year. Could 2007 be a more better year for me??

My wishlists for the new year;

raise my CGPA again, like what I did before.
have my own automatic car =)
learn more about HTML, XML, etc. etc and also about Photoshop
learn more of Nihon-go (huhu... how long had I been leaving my study on it this year??)
do a job, part time or full time, as long as I could earn some cash
be my own self, stay the same and laugh out loud
try to be more hardworking
try to limit my daydreaming (huhu... one habit that I couldn't leave. Biasala, imaginasi tinggi sgt =p )
try to be more positive and stronger
try to be a better Muslimah, Insya-Allah
and last but not least, to go to Bandung for the Angklung Festival!! "Bandung, here I come!!!"

And the rest I'll leave to the Almighty to decide. Indeed, I'm only a slave of Him, and therefore I should be thankful for what had been given to me.
AngklungBlog and my own blog will change its colors, so just wait and see.
To all who always come and read my posts and comment and chat wimme (you know who you are) thank you so much for your support. You have no idea how I value every words you said here =)
Indeed, our mind share the same bitter and sweet memories, and thus strengthen our ukhwah together, Insya Allah.
Not to forget, Selamat Hari Raya 'Aidiladha to all. For those who'll go balik kampung, take care and drive safe. Kalo makan ketupat dan rendang tu, janganlah dilupa orang di sini ^_^

The connection is really darn slow, plus I am a bit 'disturbed' now. I already cancelled my plan to go to gym with Farah and Jiah. Got lotsa things to do and to think about.
Tomorrow, got 2 tests to be done. I have to memorize one 14-line sonnet from Shakespeare. Also we got our 2nd open-book test in our English Literature II. The only thing that I'm thankful about is one of my classmate told me about it.
It pisses me off; why we need another open-book test?! It was only last week when we did the test.
And PromArch has one more job to do; POSTERS. I already asked Suhaily about it, I just hope she'll have some time for it.
It's really not easy to be a leader, especially when you need to think about your bureau members and the Mainboard members who's in charge.
I'm feeling tired, got another new song to be done, and I forgot to ask Bapak the title of the song. The song was quite cool. I love it.
Anyway, I'm waiting for 'someone' to 'make things clear', so that I could easily forget the VERY BIG QUESTION MARK in my head. (my friend, you know who you are...)

24th December 2006, my cousin's daughter, Kak Niza celebrated her day with her beloved husband, Shahrizal in her wedding ceremony at her home, Tmn. Bukit Kuchai, Puchong . Alhamdulillah, everything went as planned.
Everything went maroon that day. It's her favourite color.
We were close when we were still children, but now we are not that close. It's normal since we didn't see each other as often as we used to be. And she has her own matters and mine to settle.
When I helped her night before her wedding day, she did advice me on this matter. And I just laughed, knowing that my time is far to come. But she said that 'you don't know, you could never expect when will you get married!' I understand. Ever to her, she said, didn't expect to marry this guy this soon.
He's from Sabah, and she met him when she was doing practical at Mimos, on her last year of study. He's quite handsome to my eyes. Tall enough and fair enough. Never speak to him before, even though we and him did picnic together at Ulu Yam.
Nothing special about the wedding day. Just a very stereotype one, a very tiring ceremony. Not even my type of wedding day, actually.
For me it's enough to have kenduri to tell the people about the couple. No need of pelamin and photography session where you have to pose on the pelamin and on the bed. Kalo kite ni lawa mcm model takpe gak. I would love to make it a simple one.
And my cousin, Kak Ija told me secretly about her wedding day that will be happening next year. She said she wants to do it at Restoran Nelayan, Titiwangsa. And I already asked her whether she wants us, IAC members to perform, since she said that there will be a stage in front and she plans to invite her friend's students to dance there. But it's still in plan, still not sure.
It's okla, since I'm very eager to show my talent and how excellent the sounds of angklung are to my parents, hehe...
Well, lastly, to Kak Niza, congrats on your wedding! I pray that you'll have a lot of kids in the future, hoho... Don't mind my time, lambaaaaaat lagi =)

Okla, this is a secret I want to share with you. When I was filling the IIUM form, there was a question, 'Who is your role model?' And what's my answer?
P. Ramlee.
Yup. I wrote his name there, huhu... Not really intended to, but his image was the first that came to my mind after I finished reading it.
I grew (and still growing) up with his movies and songs. I admire his talents so much that I have never such respect to any Malaysian artists.
My favourite P.Ramlee movies are Bujang Lapok, Pendekar Bujang Lapok, Anakku Sazali, Madu Tiga, and Nujum Pak Belalang. And my favourite songs from him are Di Manakan Ku Cari Ganti? (I cried for this one once), Getaran Jiwa, (I think this is one of his masterpiece), Nak Dara Rindu, Bujang Lapok (I liked the fact that he composed this song for all three B.L films in different ways for each), Dendang Perantau and whole lot more that I couldn't remember.
I just downloaded 3 songs; Nak Dara Rindu, Bila Larut Malam, Selamat Pengantin Baru, Ketipang Payung and Bulan Di Pagar Bintang.
What I like most of his songs is that it makes me feel proud being a Malay. I just love the words, even though I knew some are not written by him. I just love the lyrics from the very beginning. And I know the fact that now Malays don't really appreciate their own language ('I feel like stupid speaking in Malay'... duh...), and that's too bad.
The more I learn about English Literature, the more I respect our own literature. It's so true. I have no idea about others, but well-- you gotta know your root, and you should be proud of it.

I thought of posting the music files here, but since I couldn't open mediafire.com, so maybe next time. And to those who has his songs, especially Ketipang Payung in mp3 format or .wma or .wmv format, please let me know. It's for the IAC members. I only got it in .ram format, so I couldn't lisen to it on my mp3.
So, this is my favourite lyric from P.Ramlee's song, Bulan Dipagar Bintang. The way it is written is very 'berkias' but simple. I just love it =)

Well, I will change my layout soon, when I have some time.
I still haven't change AngklungBlog to the latest Blogger Beta. I'm waiting for Fairuz and the new layout.
So, that's it.
Last night not more than 15 IAC members came to training. Well, at this moment, the students are beginning to busy themselves with quizes, and assignments. Mine got 1 already.
And I didn't record the song, Ketipang Payung and Lambada. Sorry, not intended to, but the songs that we played sounded quite 'dry' (kering, kata Bapak) because of lack of members. So, next timela, Zaki yer.

p/s: will search for the song, Ketipang Payung. Somehow it reminds me of the last short semester, when I was still a freshie in IAC (and still I am), haha... couldn't forget how Abg. Najib moved his shoulders like in the film, Nujum Pak Belalang =)

I'm still too lazy to switch on to Blogger Beta. I still am fond of this layout I made. Don't have much time to think about changing into a new one, so I just 'pass away' *istilah bebudak IAC*
So I went to BLOGSKINS.COM just to see the skins of the month. Perrgghh... dasat-dasat sumernye, as usual. I always admire the arts of the templates the people made, making me feeling envy, huhu...
And I chose one of them. Maybe I'll put it on next time.
About IAC music notes... hmm...
I don't know how many times I had to type again and again the numbers. Whenever I finished typing and printing the notes, suddenly there were mistakes here and there!! Wuhuhu... now I know it's not easy to type these numbers.
For Cindai, I just wrote it down. Tonight I'll ask T-Dev's chief about it. If she says it's ok, then I'll photostate it to all. About Lambada, I did type the notes down, and I'm gonna print it out after this. If there's still mistakes, then I'll write it with my own hand.
Why am I so eager about it for today? Because I plan to give the notes to the IAC members (and the formers) this week. I don't want Bapak start asking me about it. Takut seh!
Anyway, if we play Lambada and Ketipang Payung this night, I'll record it and post it, as I had promised earlier, ok??!

This header was made by Fairuz, exclusive for IAC Blog. We decided to change it's layout, so I had asked her help to do something about it.

I like the green color a lot, even though it's not my favourite color. Thanks Fairuz!! (Head Bureau T-Dev yg buat tuh, hoho...) We also decide to put some navigation buttons because there're plenty of things need to be put here and she (Fairuz) also asked me to have her bureau's portal, and then I decide, 'ok, let's do it for every bureaus.' But it is expected to be a big weblog la. Probably will be on next year, 2007, Insya-Allah.

This morning me, Farah, Jiah, Pija, Kak Zarith, Kak Nadia, Kak Ratna, Sarah, D'sya along with 3 other participants (Yana, Maira, 'Atiqah) took part as 'bunga mangga girls' for the opening ceremony of National Career Week. We had to trail on the arrival of TPM of Malaysia, Dato' Seri Najib Tun Razak (not Abg. Najib, tau!! Hehe...) Quite a handsome guy, he is. First time I saw him walking in front of me, too bad didn't have a camera to record.
Oh ya, Kak Aton and Wahida played Kompang. And supposed that Fairuz also join the ceremony, but, suddenly Kak Kiah had asked her to play Kenong for Gamelan group. Not for today, but for next month's show!
To be honest, I feel envy, but what to do... heheh..
Anyway, we actually borrowed Caklempong's clothes, just to looked good this morning. Besides, we don't have anymore extra clothes but the black kurung, and since the Kompang girls wore that, so we had no choice but to wear their's. Sorry, guys. Pinjam kejap jer...

Going out with my best friend, Kak Su is my favourite thing to do especially on weekends, even though we're now not in the same mahallah like in Matriculation centre but we're still as close as before. It's not like everyday I meet her; we even seldom meet at HSC Dept. even though we study at the same roof.
So today we went out together to Mid Valley. At first, she wished to watch Death Note, but the cinema had already stopped showing the movie. So we just walked side by side, talking and laughing like noone's around us. Note that our presence always attract people's attention for our lively laugh and chats, but we don't care, anyway.
I felt so tired right now, but I feel so relieved because I'd told her everything that I wanted to tell her so badly before. She's like my sis, because I don't have a real sister in my family and she's so caring to me and I to her. Tonight, I'm gonna sleep in her room, and we gonna chat and chat until late night.
I always feel comfortable talking about my feelings about guys, my dreams and life and she's always there to advise me, what to do what I shouldn't do. And I just love to hear her talking about her boyfriend and our friends (Kak Yani, Kak Giey, Ina and 'Ainn). What's the difference between us is she's quite feminine and I'm like her lil' sis who's crazy and mad and loud. But we get along together, we got no problem at all.
I'm glad she's here for me and I for her. I just love her =)

Last night we played Cindai for the first time.
Not intended to sabotage or anything, but this record was made last night's practice, so you can expect it's not really good, but you can still hear the song; at least it follows the real song.

Excuse me for it's lack of quality. That's why I didn't post it earlier before. But since it's for my friends who had left IAC, so I thought these as a gift =)
There're another plenty of them, but I think if you want to hear it, you can always tell me and I'll post them here. The others that I've got are Enjit-Enjit Semut, You're My Sunshine, Joget Pahang, Edelwiess, Temasya and Cindai (played by IIUM Gamelan group). All these were recorded while training sessions. If you have any idea how to 'repair' the sounds tell me, ok!!
The idea that I thought first time I recorded this is to put it on AngklungBlog so that the members can hear them and they can detect where are the weaknesses and improve it. But somehow-- maybe I forgot to post it "_,
I'll post the latest songs we played next time, whether the quality's good or not, I don't care. As long as I feel it's good to my ear, so to others.

What else?? IAC will collaborate with Zapin group for this January's Cultural Week, and last night they chose who'll be responsible for every bureaus and mainboard. They chose me to do Special Task!! Wuhuhuhu... I really thought I just want to be 'member bese' only because I'm not sure I could do it and I expect this semester will be a real busy time for me with all these major courses assignments and requirements, but the kids asked me to do it. And until now I'm still not sure, hmmm...
And there'll be 3 more performances, but not sure for what occasions. But this time there'll be no food and money. Fairuz said we already got the money, but what we need is showmanship. Well, maybe she's right, but free performance??
Anyway, every decisions are made by Mainboard members, and I don't really mind.

Enough for IAC, we move into DEATH NOTE 2: Saigo ni Namae (The Last Name). Yup, it's the sequel of the latest Death Note. It'll be here on 1st February 2007. And I will gonna watch it (even though my friend had already told me about what's gonna happen T_T)

Seems like there'll be new characters, Misa and her 'partner'. How these two will effect both Kira (Light) and L, gotta watch it. Cannot wait!!

Lambada is quite a quick song, but we played it ok yesterday. Got quite late with the music note that should be finished before that day but I didn't know what's goin' on until last night when I, myself hiding my anger helped with it. Don't want to talk about it anyway.
The only thing that relieved me was when Fairuz told me, since I played the big note D and C, that the bass sounds are great. Even though the angklung's heavy but I enjoyed it. I saw my friends, and didn't see D'sya and Atiqah because they had no idea that there'll be training as usual last night, so I apologized to them (because they're under my bureau and I didn't have their numbers, so couldn't blame them, hoho...) Sorry....
Well, got reports to write, and this evening hopefully my bureau committees will come to my room and discuss what we have to do, and I need to seperate some jobs to them, got some in my mind. About AngklungBlog, I really want to change the layout and add more information but have no idea when. I can always borrow Aishah's laptop since she had already offered it to me, but it's not like me to borrow such a thing from my friends, especially from my ICT friends because I hate to disturb their works. And what's more, I want to add a poll in the blog for our surveys on songs that people would like to hear, about our performance on stage, whether we should move or not, etc, etc.
Fuuhh... got lotsa things to do, haven't got much time left. Gotta go. JA!!

Since this semester I take English Literature II course, one of the reading requirement is the novel by Jane Austen titled Pride and Prejudice. I am still haven't reach the quarter of the story, because I'm such a SLOW READER!! I cannot read in rush or else I won't understand a thing, especially with this kind of novel that is written in such an English language that we don't use now.
Well,it isn't as bad as Shakespearean language, but still I need some time. That's why I have started reading it earlier than anyone else. And next I have to read Frankenstein, The Time Machine and Oliver Twist. For the last one I'd read it when I was at IIUM Matriculation Centre (it happened when my roomate borrowed the book but didn't read it, so I took it and read it. It's just a simpler version, it is not the original one). Fuuhhh....
What's more? I have to read another 3 novels for my Islamic Literature course. Huhu... I'm getting worried about time; whether I could make it or not. Plus how about my Linguistic books, Psycholinguistic and Sociolinguistic?? I want to score an A for these both subjects because I'm better in memorizing facts than criticising literary works.
Anyway, gotta be wise with time, it seems. Even though Romance novel isn't my favourite genre, but I'll try to finish reading it in time. I would want to watch the movie, but since the lecturer said the movie version doesn't really follow the novel, so I gave up.
But one thing I want to share here is, somehow-- while reading it, it reminds me of something. What's that something, biarlah rahsia, hehehe....
That's one thing I hate when reading romance novel; it reminds me of something that should be gone by now from my head. But it seems that I cannot run away from my memory, can I?

Assalamu'alaikum y'all!!! Just got here from JB today, and I'm so really tired, fuuuhh...
I thought about posting my pics at JB, but since I went back here (UIA) straight away, not long after we arrived in KL I had no chance to save the image files into my MP3. So next time ya!
Well, we had fun. It's been a while since we didn't go anywhere and enjoyed ourselves as a happy family. My hotel room faces the Selat Tebrau and I can see Singapore from there. I was quite surprised that Singapore and JB is quite near, and the selat is very much like a big river!
But JB doesn't offer much of any interesting places except its Danga Bay and the shopping complexes. Singaporeans like coming here to shop, and the locals like to stay here for a day before continuing their way to the land of lions. And that's it.
But it's kinda okla for me because I never see Singapore that near from the very window of my hotel room. And since Johore is a very big state, I suggest for those who wants to visit this state to drive your own car. It's easier than calling for a cab and it's expensive.
Hoho... if only my father drove the car I would ask him to go to Kota Tinggi and see Gunung Ledang. Who knows if I could meet the princess, hehe...
Anyway, Angklung training will start tomorrow night, Zaki =)

Firstly I wnt to ask my friends; did you guys change your blogger to a new version? I'm kinda blur about it, so I just let it go. I think it won't affect my blog, anyway. But if you have some info let me know, ok.
And yes, we'll be having 3-days holiday. This Monday it will be Sultan Selangor's birthday (Happy Birthday, even though I know Tuanku won't be reading this, hehe... Daulat Tuanku!) But what makes me excited about it is, we're going to a family trip to JOHOR!! Yes, I never set my foot there so I guess it'll be an exciting journey. What's more? We're going by train! My favourite ride, it's been a very long time ago since I rode a train before. So, I can't wait!!
And we'll be leaving this late evening. Too bad because I will not see the view; it'll be so dark and I'll be sleeping too, of course.
Thus I won't be here until next Tuesday, hopefully. Well, only if I couldn't find any CC there. I have no idea where my father will bring us to, it's like a mysterious holiday, heheh...
Ja mata, ne!!

p/s: if you ever ride a train to the north up until Parit Buntar (my kampung), you'll be experiencing passing a lake at the very middle of it. The lake's name is Merah Lake, and it's one hell of a journey, I tell ya!

once my family vacation. we took train ride from Padang Besar, Perlis to Ipoh, Perak. and i've witnessed the beautiful RED LAKE.. (i guess its the better translation than Merak Lake.. :P )

Last night Leha messaged me. She's one of my best friends from my previous school and we become friends since we were at Form 1. It's been a while since I didn't hear anything from her.
What was funny about last night is she asked me about the pics in my Friendster, the one with Zaki and the other with Abg. K-Roll and Abg. Najib. I told her 'ayoyo, if you were there they also want to have a pic with you too, ma. You're a cute amoi, what.'
She actually is having her college's semester break. She's now studying at Lim Kok Wing University, majoring in Architecture. She said she wants to meet me, but since we in UIA has started a new semester, so she said 'okla, we'll call each other if we have some free time together.' Okla Leha, I really want to see you, but not now, sorry.

RM420 only for accomodation fee. Isn't that cheap??!
Jeez, I wonder where the money will go after I pay it. Many suggest that I should live off campus, since my house isn't that far and it only costs me RM2 perday using PUTRA LRT. Plus, I can always drive my father's car (even though it's a manual car).
What concerned me more is my friends who could not afford that much of money. Their families live far away and to ask them for some cash is a problem. It's ok if their parents really could send out some dollars to them but they have to struggle to earn and save the money.
Looks like there's no difference between universities and collages, except its names and status. And I hate that. Ada apa pada nama?? My answer is: nothing.
I have to think back about living off campus. I have no intention to give away my money just like that. In fact, that is not my money, it's a loan that I have to pay back.
But the thing is, probably I couldn't concentrate with my studies at home, and mostly I'll miss IAC a lot. So,whether I like it or not, just like my other friends, I have to stay here.

Today is my best friend's birthday. Happy birthday, Hayati! Last night my handphone alarm woke me up reminding about your day today,hehe... You got another year to live, so live your life fully. Kalo nak ajak Angklung Club datang KUTM, kitorang ok je.
Sorryla got nothing to give,no moneyla. After I got some cash I'll treat you, ok?!
Hope that you'll be successful in the future. Kalo kawin tu ajakla aku,jgn pi nikah senyap-senyap, tak elok tau =)

And it's true, Anis is pregnant!! Bunting pelamin agaknye. Murah rezeki budak tu. I feel a bit envy, but it's okla. I feel happy for her too. Hope to see her young baby next year, bets/he'll looked cute just like his/her parents.

Huhuhu... time flies when you least knowing it.
Today is a very tiring day. It's like a one-day-trip to the Kuliyyah of IRKHS, except that everyone's rushing in and out to get the courses they want to do this semester. And today is my very first time trying to add course manually. Well, we are desperate, don't we BENL students?? Gotta say thanks to Jiah and Farah for helping me out. I don't know what'll happen to me if we didn't meet this morning =)
About IAC, I've posted Ta'aruf performance video (only for AADM) at AngklungBlog. Go and check it out. I think Fairuz will upload another 3 vids. So wait and see.
I'm tired, dunno when IAC will start training. To be honest, I haven't start writing down the new song Fairuz gave me on kertas minyak, huhuhu... But I already typed it down, so all I have to do is just print it out and photostat it for the members. I see the music note and I was like, 'whoa, no.6 banyak!!' Because I play the La note so I was quite worried. Well, just wait for the training.
And I plan to play angklung no.18 and if possible the big C after this. I'll give my angklung no.15 to someone else. Heheh...
Orait, that's it. Miss my IAC friends.

I thought about updating my blog last morning after I'd done with AngklungBlog report about last night's performance, but then Fairuz sent me a message asking to retrieve our performance's vid from Adlan, who's the Head Committee for Multimedia in Ta'aruf program.
And yup, I'd seen the video. Only for AADM, PPJJ, Matsuri and I'tiraf. We looked kinda cool, and I've asked Fairuz to put that vid on YouTube. I'll annouce when it is done.
For me, personally, it wasn't the best performance for us. At least, on the previous Ta'aruf Week the students gave us a real good feedback, especially for the song Enjit2 Semut and AADM. But it was ok, since it was the first time we did PPJJ. The thing that we must improve is how to listen to the beat and follow it step by step.

And Fairuz, since you never heard of this song, this is for ya!!

About my exam result, I am soooo really happy!! My CGPA is getting higher and higher. I just hope my dream to get DL at least once before I graduated will come true. *Amin*
This time there's no C. Not one, and I never expect that. But I don't understand how could I got only A- my Tilawah Qur'an II when I thought I'd answered every answers perfectly correct. Hmm...

My father also just bought a new camera!! YaY!!! I'll show you my pics soon. No time for now because my brother is next to use this laptop. Hehehe.. I'm a good sis.
